I actually really like the DDF Polisher but I would not consider it a replacement for a real microdermabrasion session. The results from a real micro derm session where someone is specifically targeting sections and specific lines truly leaves you with a quality of skin that is amazingly smooth and even all over. That being said, I really like the DDF Polisher for home use. I find the crystals alone to be quite harsh, but when combined with my daily cleanser it's just right for me - so I suggest you mix and match to find what works best for your face and neck.

I also like that the 'head' revolves in circles and the brush attachment is perfect for going all over your face and neck (even your shoulders and back). A benefit to me, being a guy, is that this really helps with the hair on my neck from my beard growth. The scrubbing action pulls out all of the hair and reduces (really eliminates) the ingrown bumps you get from shaving there.

Fantastic price when compared to other similar products, although I still find them ALL to be way too expensive for what you're really getting - which is a plastic handle with a motor that revolves a disk. But at least with this one you get a full size quality product included and at a MUCH more reasonable price. Definitely recommended.
